thankfulthursday is a community in which people share things they're grateful for. I've been doing daily lists of gratitutes for a few years now, and I feel like it's done a lot to shift my perspective on my days...but I've always kept these journal entries private. Skimming through a few posts here, though, I can see the value in sharing gratitudes--seeing what makes other people happy makes *me* happy, and I love that there's a place dedicated to this kind of sharing. Shout out to matsushima for creating and running this community...the guidelines are simple and encouraging, and the vibe seems quite pleasant and low-key overall. :) This is the first community I've discovered through this little project that I'm going to join!

Date: 2026-04-29 10:36 pm (UTC)I got the idea from a colleague at another school. She said her high school friends have a Discord server with a gratitude channel and I thought, I wonder if I could do something like that on Dreamwidth?
